The Two Hundred and Sixty Ninth...

Number Two Hundred and Sixty Nine:

Book Party, Dinner, Tacos, Nate's Taco Truck

Our friend Brian Burns had his book party today! He spent two years working on this book about Lewis Ginter, one of Richmond's Gilded Age philanthropists and Northside neighborhood founder. Brian and his partner Judd did an unveiling of the cover, Brian read a bit of it, followed by a book signing. The Humes' graciously hosted at their place, and Nate's Taco Truck fed us. There were a lot of interesting people at the party: former library staff from my job, lots of neighborhood people, some radio people and Joe Morrissey. Good solid time for sure. Let's call this one Ginterstache!
