The Two Hundred and Seventy Second...

Number Two Hundred and Seventy Two:

Home, Dinner, Nachos

Grilled some frozen hamburgers, crumbled the meat, then broiled some cheese on chips, Lisa's homemade salsa from our tomatoes and damn! A nice and different meal! Do you ever get in a meal rut when you feel like you just make the same thing all the time? Now I do LIKE the stuff I make all the time, but adding a little variety is always a welcome change of pace. And hell, the kid even liked it, like really liked it, not act like she liked it liked it. I think.

The Two Hundred and Sixty Eighth...

Number Two Hundred and Sixty Eight:
Home, Tomatoes

Lisa was making a little tomato salad to go with dinner tonight, I did this. These are from our garden, they kind have an eyeball appeal! Eyeballs Eyeballs Eyeballs!

The Two Hundred and Fifty Eighth...

Number Two Hundred and Fifty Eight:

Home, Breakfast, eggs

TOMATOES!!!!!!!

One of the great things about growing your own cherry style tomatoes is that they just lay around everywhere all the time when in season. Kind of like that candy bowl your grandma might have had around the house, except healthier! Just so great to walk by and pop one in your mouth at random!

The Two Hundred and Fortieth...

Number Two Hundred and Forty:

Home, Breakfast, Bagel

More tomato wackiness at 5AM before my radio show. You know how a nice bagel from Ellwood Thompson's goes with some cream cheese and a slice of tomato? Well, I go one step further and use cherry tomatoes! Lisa thinks it is a lot of trouble to cut them all up, I think it's fun bite sized! Aw yeah!

Oh, and band video!

The Two Hundred and Thirty Ninth...

Number Two Hundred and Thirty Nine:

Home, Breakfast, Omelet

Lisa also cut up a melon, which I kind of mixed with a few of our cherry tomatoes from the garden. I know! Madness!

Insert Ghostbusters quote: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

It sounds weird but is actually pretty good!

The Two Hundred and Thirtieth...

Number Two Hundred and Thirty:
Home, Dinner, Sausage Sandwich & homegrown tomatoes!

I know this might be kind of boring after the camping last week, but now that my other vacation has started, I don't care! Turkey sausage on the grill, watching a bit of Jeeves and Wooster, and enjoying the harvest from our meager gardening efforts; a nice little tomato salad to go with the sandwiches. All of this with a summer thunderstorm rolling through, lovely!
