The Three Hundred and Thirty Second...

Number Three Hundred and Thirty Two:
Tarrant's Cafe, Corned Beef Hash, Brunch

A quick meal before the third book event in as many days! I enjoy the busy! It was at Quirk Gallery, and while not many people showed up, three great things happened: more author interaction, a great live set by the band Machine Gun Mustache, and an interactive event called Exquisite Corpse which will be posted later on the Richmond Macabre website!

the Two Hundred and Seventy Third...

Number Two Hundred and Seventy Three:

Home, Breakfast, Eggs

In June, we attended a showing of Kenneth Close's display at Quirk Gallery. We had the opportunity to buy the pieces as well; some great argyle color with various spaceship cutouts from 60s magazines. As soon as I saw this one in the gallery, I was all smitten on how it would look in the record room with some of the mid-century space album art we have on the wall. Alas, when we tried to put it there after picking it up last week, it didn't quite fit, due to the lovely aqua color. We did, however, find an even better place for it, in the kitchen nook near the vintage aqua clock! Lisa would like to aqua the whole kitchen, I am cool with that if we can get more cool stuff like this!
